The Ford 7.3L "Godzilla" engine is a heavy-duty, naturally aspirated pushrod V8 built by Ford for Super Duty trucks and popular aftermarket swaps.
Godzilla is a family of heavy-duty gasoline V8 engines offered by the Ford Motor Company. The engines are intended to replace the 6.8L Triton V10 and the 6.2L Boss V8 in many uses.[1][3] The engine, first introduced with a displacement of 7.3L was first used with Ford Super Duty trucks starting with the 2020 model year and was later added to the Ford E-Series for the 2021 model year.[3][4] A smaller-displacement 6.8L variant was introduced in 2023. Exterior dimensions are smaller than the 385-series 460 engine and slightly larger than those of the 351 Windsor engine.[5] It is available as a crate engine,[6] along with a performance-oriented version called the Megazilla
